English Language and Environmental Studies Teacher (Homeroom Teacher, International Programme, ages 6–8)
Adriatic College is seeking an English Language and Environmental Studies teacher for primary school (Grades 1–2) with homeroom responsibilities. Teaching and pastoral care are provided within an international educational programme for children aged 6–8.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching English to primary school students;
- Teaching environmental studies in English in accordance with the requirements of the international programme;
- Methodical work: planning and adaptation of teaching materials, assessment of student achievements and learning effectiveness;
- Collaborative planning and participation in professional meetings and school initiatives;
Candidate Requirements
- Higher pedagogical education (degree as an English language teacher or primary school teacher);
- English language proficiency at level B2/C1 or higher;
- Experience working with primary school children, experience teaching English to young learners;
Work Conditions
- Teaching load of approximately 16 hours per week;
- Hourly rate discussed at the interview;
- Class size up to 14 students;
- Official employment;
- Consulting support with residence permit documentation;
- Transfer to and from school;
