Chemistry Teacher in Lower and Upper Secondary School (ages 12–17)
Chemistry Teacher in lower and upper secondary school for students aged 12–17, teaching international programmes (Pearson Edexcel, IB DP) in English, and/or the national programme in Russian.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching Chemistry lessons in English and/or Russian in accordance with programme requirements;
- Methodological work related to teaching (planning, developing and adapting lesson materials, assessing learning outcomes, etc.);
- Collaborative planning and reflection with colleagues working within the programme, participation in whole-school initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
- Higher education degree (Chemistry teacher/Chemist);
- English language proficiency at B2 level or above;
- School teaching experience;
- Preferred: experience teaching Chemistry in English within international programmes.
Working Conditions
- Full-time position; the academic hour rate is discussed at the interview;
- Classes of no more than 18 students;
- Official employment;
- Advisory support with documents for nostrification and residence permit;
- Transport to and from school.
